We are into hour 19 and Kathleen decided to have an epidural. We both are so tired we are smelling colors and tasting numbers. When I say we I mean both of me. I can't imagine how Kathleen must feel. She has shown the meaning of the words strength and bravery today. I am very proud to be her husband. We are going to try and rest now. They think it is going to be a few more hours. I will give another update when we wake up.

ReplyDeleteJess C. Hale here - Good luck! I vowed to have Morgan without meds and totally, completely, shamelessly said "FUCK THAT" once I was in so much pain I was grabbing for the barf bag. Do what you gotta do, man. Nate and I are really happy for y'all - you're going to make great parents. Hope all is going well! Get some sleep while you can :)
