CRAZY TRAIN (8 months:June 2012)

For a short period of time Gibson would huff and puff and laugh his touckas off at different bizarre things.  Sometimes it happened when we would sing to him, or blew air in his face, or when we made an absurd noise or gave him zerberts on his tummy.  We didn't really know what to call it until one day when he and I were driving around listening to the radio he cracked up from the beginning until the end of an Ozzy song.

Crazy Train was born.

I finally got a good series of shots of Gibby doing Crazy Train when I was sitting with him in the back seat of the car and the windows were rolled down.  The force of the wind made his hair stand up on end and he thought this was the most hilarious thing ever.
Here is a string of shots from that beautiful few minutes on the 9th of June 2012.

Gibby the Blender (7 months:May 2012)

To add to the now growing collection of home videos with annoying noises in the background...we present this:  A 7 month old Gibson imitating the sound of our blender.  And if the noise of the blender doesn't get you, surely us asking him, "What sound does the blender make?" a thousand times will.
We apologize for being such irritating videographers, but we are amateures at best and sometimes you can only capture a moment as it is happening.
We just hope his adorable buffoonery wins you over and you continue to come back for more.

Society of American Magician Presents:

Today Gibby is 7 months old and things are changing everyday.  As he is learning, so are we.

Last week, he started eating solid foods and we here at GTH learned that a baby is not only is like your drunk roommate, but like a magician. While he still lays around and yells at us in a language that no one understands, he now has daily food transformations that really draw a crowd.  In the video bananas go in, and later, off camera, the Amazing Gibby turns those bananas into a demon stew.  No words of warning could have prepared us.  We are still recovering, but I think we will survive.  Please take a moment and enjoy Gibson's first time eating solid food.

Gibby explores the complexities of his own voice (5+1/2 months)

Once again, I tried to put Gibson down for a nap in his crib.  Scheduled naps have been successful only a handful of times...usually he babbles for a little while and then I end up rescuing him right before a miniature meltdown takes place.
Today, again...no nap.
Instead, he was especially vocal and I shot about 5 minutes of pure gold.
Enjoy :)

Break on through to the other side -or- Onward and upward

Nearly imperceptible to the human eye, our little one has cut his first tooth on his lower bottom left side! On Monday it will be the topic of discussion at the baby water cooler. But for now, he must get back to filing those TPS reports...

101 Gibsons

Sooooo, this is the time of the month were I give you a photo of me and the child and promise like Ike Turner that this won't happen again.  I remind you of how much I didn't mean it and give just enough pictures so that you'll stay.  With that said, you know I love you and here is Gibson who is four months old today.
As a special treat, here are a few more recent photos for your viewing pleasure.

Gibby can now use his hands to do things.
So far it's really just the one thing, put item in mouth, but it's a start.

You might notice that in his old age he is loosing his baby hair.
It is hard to see in the photos, but he has two hairlines now.

I will now go on to make empty, unprovable promises of how I am going to make more time for you and make more updates, but you never know what the future will bring.  I truly hope that I will  start posting here a little more often and we can get to know each other better.  Who knows?  We certainly have no idea here at Team Hollingswoth.

Episode VI: Return of the Gibson

The staff here at Go Team Hollingsworth would like to apologize for the lack of publication.  We assure you there is ample material that has yet to be made available.  Just think, much like the fans of Thin Lizzy, that have just discovered that there are new songs from a now 30 year defunct band, you as a grandparent, uncle, aunt, friend, spouse or colleague will get new unseen Gibson photos when he is 32.

Today Gibson is 3 months old and we have enjoyed Christmas with family and our first family road-trip all the way to Miami.  We have gotten the joy of experiencing a whole new world through the eyes of a whole new person.  It has at times eaten up more than a little of our time.  We promise ( a bigger better, double than the previous promise) to be the most a annoying bloggers and bring an onslaught of Gibson and GTH photos from here on out.  Until then here are three photos that our staff think capture the changes of his first three months.
